02What can be evaluated
Questions a Shadow Pilot can answer.
Assurance coverage
How much of what was proposed could be assured.
Uncertified exposure
Commitments made beyond the assured amount.
Evidence failure
How often evidence was stale, missing or contradictory.
Conflicting obligations
Capability that was already encumbered.
Replay fidelity
Whether decisions re-run exactly from preserved inputs.
Opportunity excluded
Value that conservative assurance would have left out.
Shortfall exposure
Where commitments exceeded what was later delivered.
Decision latency
Time Qistas adds to the decision path.
Net shadow value
Where the necessary data exists.
The purpose of a Shadow Pilot is to establish whether Qistas adds decision-relevant information to your existing stack.
We agree metrics before results are seen. A Shadow Pilot does not presume a positive return.
03Engagement
How a pilot is run.
- 01
Scope
Agree assets, period, evidence sources, metrics and claim boundaries. NDA where needed.
- 02
Connect read-only
Exports or read-only feeds of proposals, evidence and obligations. No write access.
- 03
Shadow run
Qistas assures each proposed commitment in parallel, with full decision proof.
- 04
Comparison & readout
Results compared with what was committed and delivered, against the agreed metrics.
04Enterprise questions
Shadow Pilot & integration
Can Qistas begin without controlling our assets?
Yes. The initial Shadow Pilot is read-only. Qistas assures your real proposed commitments in parallel; no trade is blocked, no asset is controlled and no optimizer is replaced.
Its results are compared with what was committed and delivered, against metrics agreed in advance.
What data does Qistas need?
Operational evidence, technical limits, obligations and existing commitments, applicable policy, and provenance and time information for that evidence.
- Asset and operational evidence
- Obligations and reserved capability
- Policy: duration, product and assurance rules
- Provenance and timestamps
A Shadow Pilot can begin from structured exports.
What if our data model is different?
Qistas uses explicit adapter and mapping layers to translate your field names, units, schemas, identifiers and event models into its canonical assurance model.
Mappings are explicit, versioned and auditable. They are agreed with your team, not inferred by AI.
How would an enterprise begin?
Normally with a bounded, read-only Shadow Pilot.
Before results are seen, the pilot defines:
- scope and assets
- evidence sources
- policy
- baseline
- success metrics
- claim boundaries
